Rampertshof is one of 24 districts in the municipality of Simmelsdorf in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located about 800 meters northeast of the center of Simmelsdorf on a source stream of the Schnaittach .

history

In 1343 the place was first mentioned as "Rampretsdorf". To the east, on the slope of the Hienberg , is the medieval Hienberg castle stable , which was probably a high medieval aristocratic castle. Today this hilltop castle is almost completely gone; very few remains show their existence.

Due to the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Rampertshof became part of the independent rural community of Diepoltsdorf with the second municipal edict . In the course of the communal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Rampertshof was incorporated into the municipality of Simmelsdorf together with the municipality of Diepoltsdorf in 1971. In 2016 Rampertshof had 27 residents.

traffic

A municipal road connects the village to the LAU 2 district road, which passes around 200 m to the northwest .
