In the work The Silesian place names. Their origin and meaning - A picture from the prehistoric times by Heinrich Adamy is described that the place name can be derived from the founder, the village of Reinhold . Other assumptions go back to the fact that the village was founded in the 13th century by settlers from the Rhineland . In 1360 the place is mentioned as Rynischdorf .

After the First Silesian War in 1742, Reinschdorf and most of Silesia fell to Prussia .

After the reorganization of the province of Silesia , the rural community Reinschdorf belonged to the district of Neisse in the administrative district of Opole from 1816 . In 1845 there was a Scholtisei , a Catholic parish church, two chapels, a Catholic school and 77 other houses in the village. In the same year, 474 people lived in Reinschdorf, three of them Protestants. In 1855 534 people lived in the village. In 1865 there was a scholtisei, 15 farmer, 35 gardener and 14 cottage industry jobs . The Catholic school was attended by 230 students in the same year. In 1874 the district of Reinschdorf was founded, which consisted of the rural communities Franzdorf, Korkwitz, Kuschdorf, Natschkau, Reimen, Reinschdorf, Schmelzdorf and Schmolitz and the manor districts of Franzdorf, Korkwitz, Kuschdorf, Natschkau, Reimen, Reinschdorf and Schmelzdorf. In 1885 Reinschdorf had 515 inhabitants.

In 1933 there were 449 people living in Reinschdorf. In the same year Reinschdorf is incorporated into the Bösdorf district and the Reinschdorf district is dissolved. In 1939 Reinschdorf had 446 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neisse .
