The Regal Princess is a cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises . It is the second Royal- class ship and entered service in May 2014.

history

The Regal Princess was ordered together with the sister ship Royal Princess on February 17, 2010. The keel was laid on August 28, 2012. Floating up on March 26, 2013 followed, and undocking on March 29, 2013. The Regal Princess went into service two weeks ahead of schedule. On November 4th, the Regal Princess was moored in Port Everglades with the sister ship Royal Princess and was christened there on November 5th by six actors from the series Love Boat .

The Regal Princess , like her sister ship the Royal Princess , has the Seawalk, a glass floor 40 meters above the sea. The Movies under the stars - cinema under the stars - offered by Princess Cruises as the first cruise line is also offered on this ship.
