Rhon Diels (born April 1, 1975 in Marburg an der Lahn ) is a German actor .

Life

Training and roles

Rhon Diels made his first acting experience in the school theater in Füssen . He attended the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in the Prinzregententheater in Munich , which he left before graduating. He then took further private acting lessons.

Rhon Diels has had numerous television roles since 1999. He took on continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles. He was initially seen with smaller appearances in series such as Verbotene Liebe , Alpha Team - Die Lebensretter im OP and Inspektor Rolle . He had his first major series lead role in 2004 together with Bruno Bruni Jr. as sonnyboy Vincent Novak in the RTL series The Secret Life of Gamblers' Women . It was later followed by leading episode roles in the series SOKO Kitzbühel , Der Bulle von Tölz , Unser Charly , Forsthaus Falkenau and Der Bergdoktor .

In 2007 he had a guest role in the RTL soap opera Unter uns . In the role of Robert Wellmeyer, he played a hot flirtation with the series role Lara Martensen shortly before her wedding to Paco Weigel. In 2008 he played in the Rosamunde Pilcher television film Hearts in the Wind for ZDF as Justin Chandon, a young English lord who had broken the heart of the female lead Sophie Winterston in the past. From May to June 2010 he was in the BR series Dahoam is Dahoam as brewery employee Simon Wegner, in whom the female series lead Caro (actress: Teresa Rizos ) falls in love. In the 5th season of the ZDF series Dr. Klein (2019) he took on one of the episode roles as a right-wing national Stuttgart local politician.

Rhon Diels was also active as a stage actor . He worked for the Bavarian Radio in recordings of the television series Der Komödienstadel . In the folk play The Last Bear from Bavaria (2009) he played the young forest assistant Sebastian Schlächter. In Endstation Drachenloch (2009) he was the charming Munich painter Paul Böckel.

In 2011, Rhon Diels and Harald Geil produced the short film My Sweetheart I'm So Sorry , which was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2012 , among others . Diels and Geil wrote the script and took on the two main roles.

Others

Together with actor Peer Kusmagk , he opened the La Raclette restaurant in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2006 , which fell victim to a fire in October 2010 but has since been reopened. Rhon Diels also founded the band "Fengari & Brotherhood" together with Katja Rick, with which he appeared as a singer at the "Summer Spirit Festival" or at the "030 Festival".

Diels also worked in other short films , primarily as an actor, but also as a producer.
