Ricardo Adolfo de la Guardia Arango (March 14, 1899 - December 29, 1969 ) was President of Panama .

He was Foreign Minister from 1940 to mid-1941 and took office as President of the Republic on October 9, 1941 as the successor to Arnulfo Arias . He held this office until June 15, 1949. His successor was Enrique Adolfo Jiménez Brin .
