Ezequiel Fernández Jaén
Ezequiel Fernández Jaén (born March 3, 1886 in Penonomé , Coclé province , † March 26, 1946 ) was the 18th President of Panama .
Life
During his political career, Fernández was among other things head of the Supreme Court and general registrar of the registry offices. On December 16, 1939, after the sudden death of Juan Demóstenes Arosemena , he became president of the state. After Augusto Samuel Boyd returned from his work as Panamanian ambassador from the USA on December 18, three days later, he handed over the duties of office to him, since he had been the official Vice-President up to this point.
