The 1943/44 season he played for the Breslauer SpVgg 02 in the Gauliga Lower Silesia, whose group B he finished with the team as a winner, as well as the finals against group winner A , the SC Vorwärts Breslau . In the subsequent final group, in which the three group winners had to compete against each other in the round-robin tournament , he and his team took second place.

His later football stations were then Teutonia Uelzen and the TuS Wennigsen / Deister , a multi-branch club in the municipality of the same name in the Hanover region .
