Rick Hill

Richard "Rick" Hill (born December 30, 1946 in Grand Rapids , Minnesota ) is an American politician . Between 1997 and 2001 he represented the state of Montana in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Rick Hill attended Atkin High School in Montana through 1964 . He then studied until 1968 at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota . Hill became a member of the Republican Party . Over the years he held a number of leading party functions in Lewis and Clark County , Montana. He was also a member of his party's executive board at the state level. Hill was also on the board of directors of the Montana Science and Technology Alliance and from 1993 to 1996 chaired a committee that dealt with compensation for work-related accidents ( State Worker's Compensation Board ).

Between January 3, 1997 and January 3, 2001, Rick Hill represented his state as a member of Congress . Due to health problems, he did not stand for re-election in 2000. His seat went to Denny Rehberg . Today he lives in Helena ; In 2005 he received his Juris Doctor degree in Los Angeles .
