Rinner Berg is a town located in the Traunviertel of Upper Austria as until 2018 a town of the municipality Michel village in Upper Austria in the district of Kirchdorf an der Krems .
geography
The small town is located 5½ kilometers east of Kirchdorf an der Krems , 5½ kilometers northeast of Micheldorf , in the mountains to the Steyrtal near Grünburg . It is remote on the upper Rinnerbach (Rinnerbergerbach) , a tributary of the Steyr, at around 620 m above sea level. A. Height. The valley section lies between Rinnerberg ( 878 m above sea level ) in the north, Sonnkogel ( 822 m above sea level ) in the east, Steinkogel ( 1097 m above sea level ) in the south and Hirschwaldstein ( 1095 m above sea level ) in the Southwest.
The place consists of only two houses, only one of which has an address. It can be reached from Altpernstein and Leonstein - Hambaum . Down the stream lies the Rinnerberger Klamm between the Rinner and Sonnbergstock.

history
From time immemorial, the brook was the border between the dominions of Leonstein and Pernstein , and today the municipal boundaries run accordingly.
In the 18th century, next to the house that is still addressed today, there were two farms here, Rin [n] erberg (existing house) and Rinderberger with a mill, which was on the other side of the stream in Leonsteiner area, and has gone.
