Robert Nippoldt
Robert Nippoldt (born October 13, 1977 in Kranenburg (Niederrhein) ) is a German graphic artist , illustrator and book artist.
Life
Robert Nippoldt studied graphics and illustration at the Münster University of Applied Sciences . His diploma book was gangster. The bosses of Chicago . After two years of work, his second book, Jazz in the New York of the Roaring Twenties , was published in autumn 2007 , which has been translated into several languages and received numerous awards. In 2010, Hollywood in the 1930s , his third book on America in the 1920s and 1930s, was published. His fourth book Es wird Nacht im Berlin der Roden Zwanziger was published by Taschen Verlag in 2017 . Games and limited screen prints were created to accompany his books.
In addition to his book projects, he draws for international magazines and clients such as The New Yorker , Le Monde , Die ZEIT , Mercedes-Benz , Reader's Digest , Taschen and TIME Magazine . On such assignments he works together with his sister Astrid Nippoldt and his wife Christine Nippoldt under the label Studio Nippoldt.
The Berlin book is accompanied by the show “ A mysterious shimmer ”. The stage program with live drawings and live music was developed in 2015-2018 by Robert Nippoldt and the trio megalomania. The show has already been performed more than 60 times, including in the Bonn Pantheon Theater , in Berlin's Heimathafen Neukölln , in the historic town hall in Wuppertal , in Schloss Elmau , in the Kurhaus Göggingen and on the AIDA cruise ships .
Nippoldt's work has been shown in exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain. His studio ( Ateliers Hafenstrasse ) is located at the old goods station in Münster.
