Robert Tillian
Robert Tillian (* 1945 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian theater actor .
Life
Tillian was born and raised in Salzburg. After graduating from high school, he worked for a tax consultant for a year before studying law for four semesters at the University of Innsbruck and performing at Theater 107 there ( public abuse by Peter Handke ). Then he attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna for a year . After his first permanent engagement at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden (1969–1971) he went back to Vienna for a year at the Burgtheater (1971–1972, director Gerhard Klingenberg ) followed by a tour of Germany. Several years of engagements at German theaters followed. From 2000 he settled in Hamburg and worked freelance in Hamburg. He has been married to actress Regine Lamster since the 1980s and has one son.
