Roland Eugen Beiküfner (born January 1, 1959 in Baghdad ) is a German actor and artist .

Beiküfner was born as the son of the assembly inspector Johann Beiküfner and his wife Christemarie. The father, who came from a family of machines and toolmakers in Röthenbach, had moved from Röthenbach an der Pegnitz to Baghdad in Iraq on behalf of MAN in 1958 . In August 1961 the family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia , where they lived until 1965. The family moved to Nuremberg in 1965 to start school. After an apprenticeship as a toolmaker , Beiküfner completed a three-year training course as an actor in Munich .

Beiküfner made his theatrical debut in 1988 as an officer in The Misanthrope von Molière , directed by Achim Kasch. He made his television debut in 1995 in the series Kriminaltango (episode 12) in a scene with Martina Gedeck , directed by Holger Barthel . He made his cinema debut in 2001 in Leo and Claire , directed by Joseph Vilsmaier, in a scene with Michael Degen .

On September 1, 2008, he founded the theater group " Art and Drama " together with the director Friederike Pöhlmann-Grießinger , who had previously worked at the Stadttheater Fürth . Since 2008 Roland Eugen Beiküfner has been touring the German-speaking area with the two-act solo piece Der Hut by Joseph Beuys by Friederike Pöhlmann-Grießinger. In 2009 his musical reading series Sensual and Erotic from World Literature , also directed by Friederike Pöhlmann-Grießinger, was performed for the first time in Davos, Switzerland .

Roland Eugen Beiküfner has been making collages, drawings and objects since 1975. He first showed a selection of collages to the public in 1984. At the suggestion of the culture shop Zeltnerschloss of the city of Nuremberg and with financial support from a car dealership, a retrospective was realized in 2002. On February 24, 2013, the Filmhaus in the Künstlerhaus Nuremberg, under the direction of Christiane Schleindl, the chairman of the Federal Association of Communal Film Work, showed a retrospective by Roland Eugen Beiküfner with ten short films from 1993 to 2013 as part of a matinee . Roland Eugen Beiküfner has been a member of Schlaraffia Norimberga since 2015 . On October 3, 2019, Roland Eugen Beiküfner, as part of the gala premiere of the "FAUST-AGENTENLEBEN" web series in the Cinecitta Deluxe in Nuremberg, was given honorary membership by the board of the "WIR SIND FILM eV" association, represented by Christian Kern Certificate officially awarded. Roland Eugen Beiküfner is together with Albert Summer the initiator of the "Hans Eschelbach Path" from Götzis to Fraxern in Austria.
