Arte expert

When the Franco-German television channel Arte was founded on April 30, 1991 , Sabine Rollberg followed the culture and Europe-oriented program policy of this new two-country broadcaster with great interest and took over the management of Arte's editor- in- chief from 1994 to 1997 Arte headquarters in Strasbourg.

The new live news magazine 7 1/2 was created under her leadership . In doing so, she set a clear signal for the plurality of opinion and formation in a common Europe : “We are not just a cultural channel. Our second mainstay and our second major concern is Europe. (…) Our house is Europe today. Unfortunately, our program is not in line with the trend, because in all countries there is a tendency towards national egoism. Unfortunately, international issues are less valued, but we consciously swim against the current because Europe is close to our hearts. "

From October 2005 to the end of 2008 she was in charge of the cultural channels program group at WDR and helped set up the TV station Einsfestival .
