Samuel Page (* 5. November 1976 in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin as Samuel L. Elliott ) is an American actor .

life and career

Page attended Whitefish Bay High School, where he was the soccer and basketball team captain in his teens . In addition, Samuel Page attended Princeton University . There he did a Bachelor of Arts in ecology and evolutionary biology .

After graduating from college, Page decided to become an actor, although he had no experience in the field.

While in Los Angeles , he appeared on many television series , including Undressed and A Heavenly Family . He later went to New York City , where he played the role of James "Trey" Kenyon on All My Children for almost a year .

He has had other recurring roles in CSI: Miami , Total Genial and Point Pleasant . He had a bigger role in Desperate Housewives in 2010 as Marcia Cross ' stepson Sam Allen. In the same year he played the role of Colin Forrester in four episodes of Gossip Girl . In 2014, he played the role of media advisor for Claire Underwood on the Netflix series House of Cards . Since 2017 he can be seen in the freeform series The Bold Type - The Way Up in the role of company lawyer Richard Hunter.
