Sat.1 emotions is a German pay TV broadcaster operated by ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, which went on air on May 3, 2012 at 8:15 p.m. Sat.1 emotions replaces the previously existing station Sat.1 Comedy . In addition to Sat.1 emotions, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE also operates the two pay-TV channels kabel eins CLASSICS and ProSieben FUN .
Sat.1 emotions broadcasts a 24-hour program, with a focus on German daily soaps, series and feature films, but on some days international films and series are also shown.
On March 27, 2019, Sat.1 emotions introduced a new logo and a new station design.

The Sat.1 emotions program is structured by continuous telenovelas on weekdays in daytime and clear themed days in prime time. Every Monday and Friday from 8:15 p.m. German and international feature films and TV movies, such as Die Säulen der Erde and Club der Caesars , are broadcast. Thematically appropriate series are shown on Tuesdays (crime thriller: The Last Bull , The Cop and the Snob ), Wednesdays (Medical Wednesday: Klinik am Alex , Dr. Molly & Karl ) and Thursdays (Power women: Danni Lowinski , Knallerfrauen ).
At the weekend, three episodes each of Pastewka and Ladykracher will be shown in prime time.

Sat.1 emotions can be received in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via cable and IPTV, and in Austria also via satellite, depending on the cable network operator, in SD and / or HD.
Until June 30, 2016, Sat.1 emotions was also available on the Sky satellite platform. ProSiebenSat1 and Sky ended their cooperation due to different strategic orientations. Since Teleclub received the signal from Sky and was the only Swiss provider, Sat 1 emotions cannot be received in Switzerland at the moment.
