Sauerland courier
The Sauerlandkurier is a free advertising paper that appears on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The courier is published by Kurier-Verlag Lennestadt GmbH, founded in 1983 and based in Grevenbrück . The circulation of the Sauerlandkurier is around 192,900, that of the sister paper Siegerlandkurier around 116,500. The total print run is around 309,400.
The Sauerlandkurier is a partner of the Westfälischer Anzeiger and part of the Westfälischer Anzeiger media group .

Former editions
When the Siegerlandkurier 2020 was taken over by the Vorländer & Rothmaler publishing house (Siegener Zeitung), it was discontinued. The setting of the Siegerland courier was a market adjustment in Siegerland and Sauerland. In addition to the Siegener Zeitung, the Vorländer & Rothmaler publishing house also publishes an advertising paper, the “Siegerländer Wochen-Anzeiger” (SWA). Vorländer & Rothmaler in turn sold the Westfälischer Anzeiger media group two SWA issues, called “Sauerländer Wochen-Anzeiger”, in the city of Olpe. The two SWA titles for Olpe were also discontinued immediately after the takeover.
