content

In Bad Role Model, Sido deals with his role model function for young fans. Due to excessive alcohol and drug consumption, lack of education and authority problems, he questioned his own suitability as a role model as a lyrical self , but at the same time questions the standards by which he should be measured as an artist and finally accuses his critics of hypocrisy . In this respect, the title can be understood as a reaction to the debate on the same topic that was previously raised with the emerging success of rappers such as Sido, Fler and Bushido .

production

The track was produced by Paul NZA and Marek Pompetzki . Both worked together with Sido for the first time in 2005 on the occasion of the title G mein Weg , which was published both on the single Mama is proud and on the re-release of Sido's debut album Maske , and was represented as a producer on several other titles of the successor Ich . They used a sample of the title Hold the Line by the Californian rock band Toto for Schlechtes Vorbild .
