Tai Jason

Tai Jason , also known as TAI , (born July 4, 1979 in London ) is a German-English music producer who became known primarily through collaborations with the Berlin label Aggro Berlin and the Hamburg label Deluxe Records .

Career

Tai Jason was born in London in 1979 , but spent most of his childhood in Munich , sometimes also on the Thai island of Ko Samui . In 1998 he appeared for the first time as a producer, but he only became known to the general public much later. In 1999, Tai Jason graduated from high school and worked as an interviewer for the Juice . He had conversations with Mystikal , Trick Daddy and Nelly, among others . Today he lives in Munich and works as a producer for the Munich label Great Stuff . The hip-hop producer achieved a large part of its current fame through the production of various singles by Aggro Berlin. Jason stands out for the production of the B-tight song Ich bin and Sido’s single Street Boy . In 2005, Tai Jason got his first gold record for his work on the sampler Aggro Announcement No. 5 . His second followed in 2006, which Jason received for the Sido album Ich . In 2007 Jason produced a large part of the B-Tight album Neger Neger , as well as a remix for the single for the song Hot Summer by the girl group Monrose . In the meantime he is also working successfully as a house DJ and producer under the name TAI, among others for the label BOYS NOIZE RECORDS.

Musical style

Tai Jason is characterized above all by a production of beats based on the American music genre Crunk . This makes him one of the first producers of German crunk. In addition to his work as a hip-hop producer, Tai Jason is also active as a rapper and released a rap album in 2002.
