Career

society

Scott Robinson was born in the Scottish capital Edinburgh in 1992 and attended the Royal Mile Primary and Boroughmuir High School. He played for the Inch Boys Club and Hutchison Vale Boys Club in his childhood before joining the Heart of Midlothian U17 in 2006 . In April 2008 he received his first professional contract with "Hearts".

He made his first team debut as a substitute on April 26, 2008 in the league game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tynecastle Park . At that time he was only 16 years, 1 month and 14 days old, making him the youngest first division player of Heart of Midlothian, as well as the youngest ever used player in the entire Scottish Premier League . On July 14, 2008, he received a three-year contract extension.

He spent the following 2008/09 season in the Hearts U20 team. From September 2009 he was back in the professional team. In the 2009/10 season he played a total of 13 league games. He scored his first goal as a professional in January 2010 after he had scored against the eventual champions, the Glasgow Rangers, to lead in a 1-1 draw.

Although the talent in midfield headquarters only played four times in the Premier League in the 2010/11 season , he received a new two-year contract.

Under new coach Paulo Sergio he made his debut in the European Cup against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in August 2011 . With the Hearts he won the 2012 Scottish Cup final against Hibernian in the Edinburgh Derby . Robinson came on as a substitute in the 5-1 victory.

In the first season of the new Scottish Premiership , Robinson was able to secure a regular place in the first team. After the club got into major financial difficulties in 2013 caused by Roman Romanow , 15 points were deducted from the club for the 2013/14 season. The Hearts were relegated from bottom of the table. The following second division season, which consisted of many homegrowns due to lack of money, managed to get up immediately and won the championship with a clear lead over the "Hibs" and the third-placed Glasgow Rangers. Robinson missed most of the season due to a broken shin in the summer preparation for the season in a friendly against Dinamo Bucharest .

On June 3, 2015, Robinson signed a three-year contract with first division club FC Kilmarnock . He left the club in March 2016 and then played for four months in amateur status with third division club Dunfermline Athletic . He then moved to FC East Fife within the third division .

Robinson played for Livingston FC from the 2017/18 season . With the "Livis" the promotion to the Premiership succeeded in the first year.

National team

Scott Robinson played three times for the Scottish U-16 national team in 2008 . In the same year he made his debut in the U17 and took part with this in the European Championship 2008 in Turkey. Between 2009 and 2010, Robinson completed missions for the U19s .
