In 2010, after the birth of her son, she founded the eco-social textile company manomama in Augsburg , where she mainly employs people who are disadvantaged in the labor market. They also manufacture fabric bags for dm-drogerie markt , real and Edeka . In 2017 she again founded a social enterprise that benefits people and the environment: BRICHBAG . Here, upcycling backpacks are made from textile remnants from the sun protection industry, which are distributed to the homeless in cooperation with the Paritätischer Dachverband.

As a representative of sustainable entrepreneurship, she appeared on talk shows by Anne Will , Maybrit Illner , Günther Jauch and Erwin Pelzig . In January 2014, she was the protagonist of the four-part RTL documentary soap Made in Germany - We can see it best ourselves .

In early 2018, she divorced her husband.

At the award ceremony of the model award in Bayreuth 2016

Sina Trinkwalder:

"Become a thinker with heart and mind, because that no longer exists in the human-decoupled economy."

This sentence was uttered by Trinkwalder in her speech after receiving the model award from the Bayreuth Dialogues , an initiative of students at the University of Bayreuth . This was preceded by a small spectacle in the hall:

During her speech, the award-winning woman asked the listening students to stand up. Then “the men and women should put their hands on the neck, stomach and back. The 38-year-old then asked provocatively: ' Why do you actually do every shit that is told to you? 'Liberating, also somewhat embarrassed laughter followed. ' Because someone stands in front of you and tells you what to do. Go out and think for yourself. '"Then came the sentence quoted above.
