It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the north side of the Steinweg. The house Steinweg 27 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west and Steinweg 29 is to the east . In the Quedlinburg monument register it is registered as an arable citizen house.
Architecture and history
The property includes a street-side half-timbered house that was built in the 19th century and has already been converted . Behind the gate in the house is the remainder of a half-timbered house from the second half of the 16th century. The parts of the building up to the threshold of the first floor date from this time . Cylindrical beam heads and ship throats are used as decorations . The upper floors were renovated in the 19th century in the traditionalist Quedlinburg style.
