Haus Steinweg 5 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building, which is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a community courtyard, is located on the north side of Steinweg in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The house Steinweg 4 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west .
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house was built in the late 18th century. The facade is plastered in the classicism style . The building has been increased by one storey towards the street.
On the west side of the courtyard is a half-timbered side wing from the 18th and 19th centuries. A northern court building was built in the 18th century. An outside approach to a cellar was built from ashlar sandstone and possibly inserted into an old well shaft. A block wall already belongs to the property to the east.
