Steinweg 2 (Quedlinburg)
Haus Steinweg 2 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building, which is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a farm bourgeoisie, is located in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg on the north side of the Steinweg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The house Steinweg 1a, 1b , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west side, and to the east is house Steinweg 3 .
Architecture and history
The residential building of the courtyard was built around 1730 and is essentially baroque . A beautiful gate system belongs to the property. In the middle of the 19th century the windows were enlarged. At the same time the facade was plastered. During this time, a utility wing with a two-storey gallery was built on the west side of the courtyard.
The interior of the building was renewed around 1920/1930.
