Haus Steinweg 8 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building, registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register, is located on the north side of Steinweg in the historic Neustadt Quedlinburg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The house Steinweg 7 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west and Weberstraße 1 to the east .
Architecture and history
The core of the three-storey plastered half-timbered house was probably built around 1600. The upper storeys protrude. Around 1800 the facade of the building was rebuilt in its present form. The front door also dates from this period. Around 1905 an Art Nouveau shop was built into the ground floor . Here, lavishly carved columns and figuratively designed lugs were used.
