Steinweg 54 (Quedlinburg)
Haus Steinweg 54 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the eastern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt at the confluence of Ballstrasse and Steinweg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a merchant's house in the Quedlinburg monument register. The house Steinweg 55 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west .
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built in 1613. The half-timbered facade shows decorations typical of the time it was built. There are cylindrical beam heads and ship throats with dewsticks . On floor threshold and eaves are notched ornaments applied in star shape. The roof is shaped by a dwelling house .
Around 1780 the house was rebuilt and designed in the late baroque and classicist style. The front door of the building is classicistic. The shop added on the ground floor is provided with historic door and window frames.
