Architecture and history

The two-storey residential building on the street side, which belongs to the courtyard, was built in half-timbered construction according to a building inscription in 1812 . The large central passage through the house is striking. The front door and the framing of the windows on the ground floor are designed in the classicism style. On the courtyard side there is a carved window frame in the Rococo style , which is believed to have originated around 1760.

There are farm buildings in the yard. The construction time of these half-timbered buildings is assumed to have been around 1760. The compartments are provided with decorative lining.

The building has been extensively renovated since 2014. There is a plan to include the building in a dementia center planned by the DRK in the backyard . The center should also include the neighboring house at Steinweg 58.
