Haus Steinweg 81 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the south side of the Steinweg, at the confluence with Pölkenstraße. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The two-storey building was built in the late baroque style . It is covered by a striking mansard roof. In later times shop fittings were made. A carved front door is remarkable.

There is a gastronomic use on the ground floor of the house.

On May 26, 2017, stumbling blocks were laid in front of the house for Berta and Bruno Sommerfeld, who lived here temporarily and were deported in 1943 and then murdered.
