Haus Steinweg 20 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building, registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as an agricultural citizen's farm, is located in the historic new town of Quedlinburg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

Architecture and history

The narrow baroque half-timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1684. Another indication suggests the time around 1740. However, only parts of the original small courtyard have been preserved. The facade of the house is structured by profiled planks, the compartments are provided with ornamental brickwork.

Inside the house there is a historical staircase with openwork board balusters . A shop was later added to the ground floor of the building.

On the courtyard side there is a three-storey half-timbered building from the 18th century.
