The Faroese Football Championship in 1952 was held in the Meistaradeildin first Faroese league and was the tenth season overall.

VB Vágur returned to the top division after a year. Master was KÍ Klaksvík , who could win the title for the third time. Defending champion TB Tvøroyri finished in second place. For the first time, the better goal quotient decided the championship; otherwise, this was only the case in 1958 . It was the closest championship ever since the league game was launched in 1947 , as only one goal was decisive.

Compared to the previous season, the goal rate improved to 3.25 per game. TB Tvøroyri achieved the highest win with a 6-0 home game against VB Vágur, which was the highest-scoring game alongside the 5-1 between KÍ Klaksvík and VB Vágur and the 4-2 between TB Tvøroyri and KÍ Klaksvík.

In the Meistaradeildin , each team now played twice against each other on eight match days. The team with the best points at the end of the season was clear as champions of this league, there was no relegation regulation.

Season course

Neither KÍ Klaksvík nor TB Tvøroyri gave up points against the other teams, so the two direct duels had to decide the championship. KÍ won his home game against TB 2-1, while TB won the home game against KÍ 4-2. So now both teams were tied and TB Tvøroyri also had the better goal difference. However, the decisive factor was the goal quotient , which thus earned the title for KÍ Klaksvík.
