The Faroese Football Championship 1958 was held in the Meistaradeildin called first Faroese league and was a total of the 16th season. It started on May 11, 1958 with KÍ Klaksvík's game against HB Tórshavn and ended on August 3, 1958.

Champion was defending champion KÍ Klaksvík, who could win the title for the third time in a row and for the eighth time overall. For the second time after 1952 , the better goal quotient decided the championship.

Compared to the previous season, the goal rate improved to 5.16 per game, which was the highest average since 1949 . The highest victories were achieved by B36 Tórshavn with a 7-2 home game against VB Vágur , which was also the highest-scoring game, B36 Tórshavn with a 6-1 away game against TB Tvøroyri and KÍ Klaksvík with a 5-0 home game against TB Tvøroyri.

The championship was decided between KÍ Klaksvík and HB Tórshavn .
