Faroese Football Cup 1957

The Faroese Football Cup in 1957 was played for the third time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Gundadalur Stadium in Tórshavn , HB Tórshavn won 1-0 against KÍ Klaksvík and was thus able to win the cup for the second time.

HB Tórshavn and KÍ Klaksvík finished fifth and one in the championship . Defending champion TB Tvøroyri , however, was eliminated in the qualifying round.

All first division clubs were allowed to play in the cup. B36 Tórshavn was seeded straight for the semifinals. The other four teams initially played two participants in one round, one of which was directly qualified for the final. The other winning team determined the second finalist against B36 Tórshavn. All rounds were played in the knockout system .
