This article is about the Faroese Men's Football Cup. For the women's competition, see Faroese Women's Football Cup 1995 .
The Faroese Football Cup 1995 took place between March 19 and August 16, 1995 and was played for the 41st time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Gundadalur Stadium in Tórshavn , HB Tórshavn won 3-1 against B68 Toftir and was thus able to win the cup for the 24th time. HB Tórshavn also took part in qualifying for the 1996/97 European Cup Winners' Cup.
HB Tórshavn and B68 Toftir finished second and third in the championship . With Fram Tórshavn and Skansin Tórshavn, two fourth division teams reached the group stage. Defending champion KÍ Klaksvík , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals. With a 22-0 in the group stage against Skansin Tórshavn, HB Tórshavn scored the highest victory in the history of the cup competition.
Instead of the pure knockout system , a group phase was introduced. All first division teams and second division clubs EB / Streymur , ÍF Fuglafjørður and LÍF Leirvík were set for this. The remaining teams played the remaining three participants in two rounds. In the group stage, each team played each other twice, with the first and second placed in each group qualifying for the next round. Then the game was continued in the knockout system.
