Uni Jógvanson Arge (born January 20, 1971 in Tórshavn , Faroe Islands ) is a Faroese journalist and musician as well as a former football and handball player . As a player, he scored the third most goals for the national soccer team .

Arge began his career at HB Tórshavn , for which he was active as an amateur for the first six years. He made his debut in 1988 on the eighth game day of the first division , when he was substituted on 0: 1 in the home game against ÍF Fuglafjørður in the 61st minute and scored to 1: 1, the game was finally won 3: 1. Already in the first year the double of championship and cup (1-0 against NSÍ Runavík ) was reached. The success in the cup could be repeated in 1989 by a 2-0 in the replay against B71 Sandur and 1992 by a 1-0 against KÍ Klaksvík , where Arge was not used in the final games in 1989. European Cup
Arge played a total of eleven matches in international club football. He made his debut for HB Tórshavn in 1993/94 in the preliminary round of the European Cup Winners' Cup . Personal
Uni Arge is the son of journalist and politician Jógvan Arge . He graduated as a journalist in 1999 and has been working in this profession ever since. In 2004 he made his debut with his first book Komin er nú onnur øld - ein lýsing av okkara samtíð ("Now another age has dawned - a contemplation of our present"). This is a socially critical nonfiction book on the problems of our time from a Faroese point of view.
In October 2007, Arge's first CD, Mitt í sjónum (“Mitten in See”) came out. According to his own account, he has been making music since he was 11, but his football career had always prevented him from dreaming of his own album.
