Faroese Football Cup 1974

The 1974 Faroese Football Cup took place between May 19 and October 6, 1974 and was played for the 20th time. In the two finals, VB Vágur won 4-0 and 3-5 against defending champion HB Tórshavn and was thus able to win the cup for the first time.

VB Vágur and HB Tórshavn finished third and one in the championship .

All first division clubs were allowed to play in the cup. These initially played out three participants in one round, one of which was directly qualified for the final. The other two teams determined the second finalist. The final took place from this year with a return leg. All rounds were played in the knockout system .
