Faroese Football Cup 2003

The Faroese Football Cup 2003 , also known as Løgmanssteypið 2003 , took place between March 9th and July 29th 2003 and was played for the 49th time. In the final, which was played on natural grass in Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn , B36 Tórshavn won 3-1 against GÍ Gøta and was able to win the cup for the fourth time. B36 Tórshavn also took part in the first qualifying round for the 2004/05 UEFA Cup .

B36 Tórshavn and GÍ Gøta finished second and seventh in the championship . Defending champion NSÍ Runavík , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

All first division clubs were set for the group stage. The remaining lower-class teams played the remaining two participants in two rounds. In the group stage, each team played twice against each other, with the first and second placed in each group as well as the two best third placed qualifications for the next round. Then the game was continued in the knockout system .
