Faroese Football Cup 1977

The 1977 Faroese Football Cup took place between June 12 and August 28, 1977 and was played for the 23rd time. TB Tvøroyri beat VB Vágur 1: 3 and 3: 0 in the two finals and won the cup for the fifth time.

TB Tvøroyri and VB Vágur took first and third place in the championship , thus TB Tvøroyri achieved the double . Defending champion HB Tórshavn , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

All first division clubs were allowed to play in the cup. TB Tvøroyri was set straight for the semi-finals. The remaining teams played the remaining three participants in a round. All rounds were played in the knockout system .
