Faroese Football Cup 1986

The Faroese Football Cup 1986 took place between April 20 and July 6, 1986 and was played for the 32nd time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Gundadalur Stadium in Tórshavn , NSÍ Runavík won 3-1 against LÍF Leirvík and was thus able to win the cup for the first time.

NSÍ Runavík and LÍF Leirvík finished fourth and seventh in the championship . With ÍF Fuglafjørður a second division reached the semifinals. Defending champion GÍ Gøta , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals.
