Faroese Football Cup 2008

The Faroese Football Cup 2008 , also known as Løgmanssteypið 2008 , took place between March 15 and June 14, 2008 and was played for the 54th time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Gundadalur Stadium in Tórshavn , defending champions EB / Streymur won 3-2 against B36 Tórshavn and thus won the trophy for the second time.

EB / Streymur and B36 Tórshavn took first and third place in the championship . As EB / Streymur achieved the double , B36 Tórshavn took part in the first qualifying round for the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League . With 07 Vestur , AB Argir and TB Tvøroyri , three second division teams reached the quarter-finals.
