Faroese Football Cup 2010

The Faroese Football Cup 2010 , also known as Løgmanssteypið 2010 , took place between March 20 and August 6, 2010 and was played for the 56th time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Injector Arena in Klaksvík , EB / Streymur won 1-0 against ÍF Fuglafjørður and was able to win the cup for the third time. In addition, EB / Streymur took part in the second qualifying round for the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League .

EB / Streymur and ÍF Fuglafjørður finished second and fourth in the championship . With FC Hoyvík , a second division team reached the quarter-finals. Defending champion Víkingur Gøta , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals.

The final was originally supposed to be played on artificial turf on July 29 and August 1 at Gundadalur Stadium in Tórshavn , but has been moved to Klaksvík for August 6 .
