Faroese Football Cup 2017

The Faroese Football Cup 2017 , also known as Løgmanssteypið 2017 , took place between April 1st and August 26th 2017 and was played for the 62nd time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn , NSÍ Runavík beat B36 Tórshavn 1-0 and thus takes part in the 1st qualifying round for the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League .

NSÍ Runavík and B36 Tórshavn finished fourth and third in the championship . For NSÍ Runavík it was the third victory in the eighth final, for B36 Tórshavn the eleventh defeat in the 16th final. Defending champion KÍ Klaksvík , however, was eliminated in the semi-finals.
