Faroese Football Cup 1976

The Faroese Football Cup 1976 took place between May 16 and October 10, 1976 and was played for the 22nd time. In the two finals, defending champion HB Tórshavn won 1-0 and 3-0 against KÍ Klaksvík and was able to win the cup for the 13th time.

HB Tórshavn and KÍ Klaksvík finished second and third in the championship .

All first division clubs were allowed to play in the cup. KÍ Klaksvík was seeded straight for the semifinals. The remaining teams played the remaining three participants in a round. Compared to the previous year, four teams played in the semi-finals from this season, no one was automatically seeded for the final. All rounds were played in the knockout system .
