Faroese Football Cup 2012

The 2012 Faroese Football Cup , also known as Løgmanssteypið 2012 , took place between March 17 and August 25, 2012 and was played for the 58th time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn for the first time since 2005 , Víkingur Gøta won on penalties against defending champions EB / Streymur and was thus able to win the trophy for the second time. Víkingur Gøta also took part in the first qualifying round for the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League .

Víkingur Gøta and EB / Streymur finished fifth and one in the championship . With AB Argir and B71 Sandur , two second division teams reached the quarter-finals.
