Klæmint Andrasson Olsen (born July 17, 1990 in Runavík ) is a Faroese football player on the position of the center forward. He plays for the Faroese club NSÍ Runavík and the Faroese national team and is the record scorer for the Betrideildin .

Olsen first ran in 2007 for the second team of NSÍ Runavík in the second division , his first game he played on the first game day in a 1-0 home win against B36 Tórshavn II and was substituted in the 81st minute for Jan Nónklett. He scored his first two goals on matchday two in a 5-0 away win against KÍ Klaksvík II . During the season he rose from the second to the first team and became Faroese champion alongside Jóhan Troest Davidsen , Hjalgrím Elttør , Jónhard Frederiksberg , Christian Høgni Jacobsen , Jens Martin Knudsen , Bogi Løkin , Pól Thorsteinsson and Einar Tróndargjógv . Olsen made five appearances in the first division , the first time on Matchday 10 in a 1-0 away win against Skála ÍF when he came on for Anderson Cardena in the 79th minute .

In 2008, Olsen played in the Atlantic Cup against Valur Reykjavík and lost 5-2 after being substituted on in the 65th minute. It was only in the second half of the season that he was increasingly used in the first division. In 2009 he played his last games for the second team and also scored his first first division goal to equalize 2-2 in a 3-2 away win against B36 Tórshavn on matchday seven. Between 2013 and 2016 Olsen was top scorer in the Faroese league four times in a row, a fifth time in 2019. In 2015 he was with NSÍ Runavík for the first time in the cup final , which was lost 3-0 to Víkingur Gøta . In 2017 he won the Faroese Cup with Runavík by beating B36 Tórshavn 1-0. In the game for the Supercup against champion Víkingur Gøta his team lost on penalties.

With 188 goals, Olsen is the record scorer in the first Faroese league (as of the end of 2019).

European Cup

Olsen has scored four goals in 19 European Cup games. In the return leg of NSÍ Runavík against Dinamo Tiflis in the first qualifying round of the 2008/09 UEFA Champions League , he was substituted on with the final score of 1-0 in the 83rd minute. Due to the 3-0 defeat in the first leg, NSÍ was eliminated. He scored his first goal in a 4-3 win in the second leg against Linfield FC in the first qualifying round of the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League , here too NSÍ was eliminated due to the 2-0 defeat in the first leg. He managed a three-pack in the first qualifying round for the 2018/19 Europa League in the 4-6 defeat in the second leg against Hibernian Edinburgh . The first leg was lost 6-1.

National team

Olsen was several times Faroese youth international. On September 7, 2012, he made his debut for the Faroese senior team in the 3-0 defeat in the World Cup qualifier against Germany in Hanover , when he came on in the 85th minute for Jóan Símun Edmundsson . He scored his first and so far only international A goal in 28 games in the 4-1 defeat against Spain in the European Championship qualifier on June 7, 2019 in Tórshavn .
