Christian Høgni Jacobsen (born May 12, 1980 in Runavík ) Faroese football player who was also active for the Faroese national team .

Jacobsen started his career in 1996 with NSÍ Runavík. He made his debut on his 16th birthday for the second team on the third day of the third division in a 5-0 win against B71 Sandur , he played the entire game. For the first team, he ran for the first time a week later in the second division in the away game against FS Vágar II , he was substituted on in the 78th minute when the score was 4: 1 for Oddfríður Gaardbo , the game ended 5: 1. In 2005 and 2006 Jacobsen was the top scorer for NSÍ with 18 goals each. He then moved to HB Tórshavn in 2007 , but could not prove his previous accuracy there. In the last third of the season he was loaned to NSÍ Runavík until the end of the season and was able to celebrate the first championship together with Jóhan Troest Davidsen , Hjalgrím Elttør , Jónhard Frederiksberg , Jens Martin Knudsen , Bogi Løkin , Pól Thorsteinsson and Einar Tróndargjógv , among others . In 2008 Jacobsen initially played again for HB. In July he signed a contract with AB Copenhagen for one season, in which he was used only once. After his contract was not renewed, he has been playing for NSÍ Runavík again since July 2009. In the second year after his return, like Arnbjørn T. Hansen, scored 22 goals in the first division and secured the title of top scorer for the third time.
In the spring of 2012 Jacobsen moved to the Danish third division club Boldklubben 1908. , Only to sign a contract with B68 Toftir shortly afterwards . The season ended in penultimate place, which resulted in relegation. Jacobsen then ended his career, but returned to NSÍ Runavík for five games in 2014. European Cup
Jacobsen appeared nine times in the European Cup, the first time in 2005/06 for NSÍ Runavík in the second leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup in the away game against Liepājas Metalurgs . Here Jacobsen was substituted after 75 minutes when the score was 0: 2 against Kári Hansen , the game ended like the first leg with 0: 3. His only European Cup goal so far was in 2008 in the first round of the UI Cup at the home game against IF Elfsborg to equalize 1-1, the game was lost 4-1.
National team
Jacobsen made his debut in the Faroese national team together with Andrew av Fløtum and Súni Olsen on January 31, 2001 as part of the Nordic Championship in the 0-0 win against Sweden in Växjö , when he came on in the 77th minute for Uni Arge .
