The most important sight is the widely visible church, which was put together in 1907 from prefabricated parts in Norway. Across from her, the Viðarlundin við Tvøroyrar kirkju , a small park and thus a rarity on the Faroe Islands, with a size of 0.38 hectares was created from 1968 . Another park, the Viðarlundin við Suðuroyar Sjúkrahús , was created at the hospital from 1970, it was laid out for patients, among other things, and is 1.08 hectares in size. The museum, which housed a doctor's practice until 1926, is also worth seeing. At the harbor there are some well-preserved or restored old warehouses and an old commercial building ("Krambúð") from 1856, which now houses a small café.
