The Faroese Football Championship in 1950 was held in the Meistaradeildin first Faroese league and was the eighth season overall.

Champion was B36 Tórshavn , who could win the title for the third time. Defending champion TB Tvøroyri finished in second place.

Compared to the previous season, the goal rate worsened to 4.76 per game, which was the lowest average since 1947 . TB Tvøroyri scored the highest win with a 13-1 home game against VB Vágur , which was also the highest-scoring game.
