Career

Valenti began his career at Mannheim's ERC , for whose DEL team, the Adler Mannheim , he was on the ice even after the new top German professional game class was founded in 1994 . He was used as a striker . In addition to his commitment in Mannheim, Valenti was also repeatedly employed at the second-class Heilbronner EC , the Adler's cooperation partner. While he was never able to assert himself in the DEL with the Adler, he was one of the team's best internal scorers at the Heilbronn EC. His best season was the 1996/97 season , when he was able to score 86 points in a total of 62 games.

For the 1998/99 season , the right-handed player moved to the Nürnberg Ice Tigers , which he left after a year in the direction of EC Bad Tölz . After two years with Bayern in the 2nd Bundesliga, Valenti finally moved back to the DEL to the Kassel Huskies, with whom he was relegated to the 2nd division in 2006 . Valenti then stayed with the Huskies for another year before joining the Mosquitos Essen in the summer of 2007 . There he scored 23 points in 55 games. After the mosquitoes had to file for bankruptcy in 2008 and were excluded from the league, he switched to the Lausitzer Füchsen .

In 2011 he switched again to the Kassel Huskies. He has been there since then as a defender . After three seasons in the major league, he was promoted to DEL2 with Kassel in 2014 . His contract was extended in 2014. In April 2016 he ended his career after winning the DEL2 championship.

International

For the German U20 national team , Sven Valenti completed 13 games at the World Championships in 1994 and 1995 , scoring a total of four goals and two assists .
