Talos - The Mummy is an internationally produced horror film from 1998.
action
A group of archaeologists led by Richard Turkel discovers a prince's mummy in Egypt, which turns out to be the source of evil. Sir Turkel closes the sarcophagus just in time before he dies.
Decades later, Samantha Turkel, a granddaughter of Sir Turkel, finds the mummy. The mummy is brought to the British Museum . Ritual murders happen quickly in the city. After an American politician is killed, US investigator Riley helps find the killer.
The mummy waits for a certain constellation of heavenly bodies, which should enable the prince to be born again.

- Dan Jardine in the "Apollo Guide": The strip wastes opportunities that the work of an Asian-American police officer in the strange London area would offer. The film takes itself too seriously. His special effects are bad, they are reminiscent of B-films from the 1950s.
