German productions

"[...] indulge in long-forgotten childhood dreams for an evening! This is going to be a hit "

- Berliner Morgenpost

“It is a really strong musical that the English playwright and songwriter Tim Firth wrote in 2017, it goes to the heart, it also wowed the audience last night at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, it carries you away, it moves you to tears, it gives courage and joy, it is what the British call a "Feel Good" piece. "

- Bavarian radio

“[...] a wonderful coming-of-age piece in which the lines between drama and comedy blur touchingly. There are many poignant, nostalgic melodies and moments. "

- Danube courier

"Earwig guarantee!"

- Picture Munich

“[...] a gorgeous and very British piece with many wonderful stage ideas full of contemporary history, goose bumps moments and 90s flair [...] If you haven't put off at least one small tear at the end, you have no heart. Or simply never sang along unrestrainedly out loud with happiness during a concert. "

- Evening newspaper

“A longing, repentant alliance with the younger me, with my own past years! ... a story about women's friendships, growing up and the wonderful hysteria of pop fans, unmolested by any ironic distance. "

- Spiegel Online

“The Band is a family-friendly nostalgia trip without the usual bombast. A pleasantly hand-made musical in which, above all, it makes you feel right. "

- RBB

premiere

"An incredibly funny and at the same time incredibly heartbreaking story."

- Daily Mirror
