The Dead Rabbitts is a 2011 founded Metalcore - Supergroup from Phoenix , Arizona . It consists of singer Craig Mabbitt (singer of Escape the Fate ), lead guitarist Alex Torres (formerly with Eyes Set to Kill , Greeley Estates and Alesana ), bassist TJ Bell (formerly with Motionless in White , currently with Escape the Fate) and drummer Rob Pierce. Former musicians include Kevin Gruft ( lead guitar ) from LoveHateHero , Augustus Cryns ( rhythm guitar ), Brian O'Dawd, Tony Aguilera ( The Word Alive ) and Chris Julian (all drums).
The band released an EP called Edge of Reality in 2012 . The group was supported by PledgeMusic and To Write Love on Her Arms . At the end of 2013, the signature took place with Tragic Hero Records , which took over the costs for the production and publication of the debut album Everchanger . The debut album entered the official album charts .

At the end of 2011, Escape the Fate singer Craig Mabbitt announced the creation of a new musical side project. In addition, he announced that the music project would publish a first single in February 2012 by Caleb Shomo (ex- Attack! Attack! , Beartooth will produce). Other members should include Kevin Gruft from LoveHateHero , TJ Bell from Escape the Fate and formerly Motionless in White and Alex Torres (formerly Eyes Set to Kill , Greeley Estates and Alesana ). The group today consists of singer Mabbitt, bassist Bell, guitarist Torres and drummer Rob Pierce.
The debut EP Edge of Reality was self-released on October 30, 2012. In order to cover the costs of producing and publishing this EP, the group started a campaign on the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic , which was supported by To Write Love on Her Arms . This EP was produced by Andrew Wade, who had previously worked with A Day to Remember . A month before publication of this EP toured the group as a support act for Get Scared along the West Coast of the United States .
In November 2013, the music project was signed by the independent record company Tragic Hero Records . On July 1, 2014, the debut album Shapeshifter was released on the label. In June and July 2014, the group toured the United States and Canada with The Relapse Symphony . Shapeshifter debuted at number 127 on the national album charts and stayed there for a week.
In November and December 2014, the group toured the United States again with Our Last Night , Miss Fortune supporting The Color Morale and The Word Alive . This concert tour included 30 shows.
style
The music of The Dead Rabbitts is described as "harder than the last releases of Escape the Fate ", "which were very influenced by hard and glam rock ." The music style is comparable to the earlier work of Blessthefall when Mabbitt was still there The singer acted, namely His Last Walk from 2007. The melodic refrains are also concise.
